Project Work Flow: * My current project is sharekhan. The Client of my project is BNP Paribas. * The Main objective of this project is to allow customers to do online trading in the sense buying/selling of company shares by investing their money and earn money as much as possible. * The Client gets 1% brokerage charge from the retail client when they do buying or selling the shares. * The customers can be of retail clients. 1. Initially Business Analyst will prepare the Business Requirement Document based on the the Client requirements. 2. BA will instruct the Java/UI developers to design the appropriate web pages, so that the users such as retail client and relationship managers can make use of the pages and start doing the trading. 3. The UI developers here will create the following web pages (1) Logging in (2)Transfer Cash(from bank to sharekhan) (3)Check your trading limit (4)Buy and Sell shares (5)Track orders and Trades (6)Check Your demat balances (7)View digital contracts (8)Withdraw Cash ( From Sharekhan to bank) Let me explain each and every pages of project. 4.The relationship manager of this project will communicate the retail clients and tells the objective of this project and steps to do online trading. 5. when the retail clients are ready to do online trading using this project, the relationship manager will create the demat account which consists of retail clients user_id and their password. 6. Now the retail client will access the first page of this project by providing their user_id and password which is given by relationship manager. 7.Once, the customers logged in into prject, they will see the details such as User profile, Accounts, Trade now, Reports, market watch, fast trade, closing session of NSE, NSEFO, Exercise, After_hour. Generally the trading business duration is between 9.50 to 16.00 hrs, beyond this duration, the customers are able to log in and to use the application, but they can not buy or sell shares. 8.In second web page, the customers can transfer the money of their own bank account into the this sharekhan project to start online the trading by going into "Account->Cash transfer" link. The customers may have up to three or more bank accounts registered with internet banking. 9.the third web page of the project allows the retail clients to check their trading limit.They can also check in the "report-->margin" link of the project For example, if they transfer an amount of 1000 rupees, they are allowed to do trade upto rupees 20000, since my project allows multiplication of 20 with the customers fund. 10.Then, the retail client can buy or sell shares in the fourth web page of my project. In this page, the customer can click "trade Now-->Cash" link to buy the company shares. Once they clicked the above link, they are asked to enter the following details, (1)Exchange ------> NSE/BSE (2)Script code -------> Company Code (3)Type --------------> whether to buy or sell (4)Order quantity-----> total no of shares (5)Market order-------> Company's Current market rate(for example Rs.200) (6) limit order--------> User can fix the rate to buy or sell (for example Rs.199 comes, buy the share) (7) limit Price--------> User can fix the rate to sell ( for example Rs. 210 comes) (8) Stop loss price---> Sell the share when comes to this price (for example Rs.190 comes, dont go beyond this value) When all the above details are entered, the customers are asked to enter their transaction password and click the "place order" button. 11. The customers can track the orders and trades using fifth web page of this project. When the customers places the order, if it is in "pending", then it is known as "orders", if it is in "executed successfully", then it is known as "trades." The customers can view and track the orders and trades that are placed in the current date by clicking "reports->cash->orders". 12. The customers can check the demat balances after placing orders to buy shares. In case of customers buys any shares, the demat trading limit updated as it is reduced. It can be checked by clicking "Report->cash->DP/SR" link. The project also allows to sell the share in this page by clicking "Sell from DP". 13.In View digtial contracts web page, the customers can filter and view the trades, the digital contract copy of trade executed by them between dates by clicking "Reports->cash->contract notes" link. From date and to date, segments (NSE/BSE) can be given in order to view the trades as digtally contract notes. 14. The retail client can withdraw cash from sharkhan to their bank account using Withdraw cash web page. The customer can go to "Account->withdraw Cash" link,enter an amount to be withdrawn, and provide transaction password to withdraw amount from the project to customers bank account.
